How do i clear my google searches on a mac?

When ever i type in something on google or other sites, i see my previous searches.How do i clear my google searches on a mac?
Safari:


Click Safari from the menu bar and then select ';Reset Safari';. When the dialog window appears, select the ';Reset'; button.





Firefox:


Click Firefox from the menu bar and select ';Preferences'; from the list. Now click the ';Privacy'; tab and select the check box next to ';Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar';. Finally, click the ';Clear Now'; button.
