How do i clear items from my yahoo search?

To clear your history from Internet Explorer:


1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.


2. Select ';Internet Options.';


3. Click the ';General'; tab.


4. Click the ';Clear History'; button. To completely disable the history function, set ';Days to keep pages in history'; to zero.


To turn off this feature:


%26gt; Open an Internet Explorer page


%26gt; Go to tools


%26gt; Click on Internet options


%26gt; Click the content tab


%26gt; Then click the auto complete button, make sure you uncheck every thing in there.





To clear your history from Mozilla Firefox:


1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.


2. Select ';Options'; %26gt; ';Privacy'; %26gt; ';History.';


3. Click on ';Clear.'; To completely disable the history function, set ';Remember visited pages for the last X days'; to zero (';0';).


4. Click ';OK'; to exit.


This will resolve it all :)

These steps are if you have Yahoo! Toolbar:


If you want to remove all the entries in your search history right now, but you still want Yahoo! Toolbar to remember your searches in the future, do the following:





1. Click the Pencil menu.


2. Select ';Clear Recent Searches';.





If you want to save your recent searches while you're searching on the Web, but automatically clear the saved searches when you close your browser window, do the following:





1. Click the Pencil menu.


2. Select ';Toolbar Options';.


3. Select ';Auto-clear recent searches when exiting IE'; so there's a checkmark in the box next to it.


4. Click ';OK';.


If you want to disable the feature entirely so none of your searches are saved, do the following:





1. Click the Pencil menu.


2. Select ';Toolbar Options';.


3. Click ';Remember Recent Searches'; so there's not a checkmark in the box next to it.


4. Click ';OK';

If you are talking about the yahoo toolbar: click the pencil and go to clear search history!


TO Delete recent searches from popping up in the drop down menu on a search page.


Go to the search site site, click where you would type then push the down arrow


on your keyboard.


As you move your pointer over a word it is highlighted,


Highlight the word in the list then hold down the delete key on your keyboard.


To turn this feature off in yahoo tool bar: Click the pencil icon go to toolbar options/ under Search box uncheck the first 2.


To turn this feature off Open an IE page go to tools at the top/ Internet options click the content tab/ then click the auto complete button/ uncheck every thing there
