There r two sections of history if u r not using yahoo toolbar. One is address bar and the other is search bar. To remove the history of address bar follow this path please. Tools %26gt; internet options%26gt; clear history and set the number of days to zero. To remove the search bar history. Follow this path please, Tools %26gt; internet options%26gt; content%26gt; auto complete%26gt; clear forms. To stop the generation of history in the search bar, uncheck the box of forms. If u r using yahoo toolbar also. Then to remove the yahoo toolbar search history, click on arrow,select options and clear search history. It will solve ur search bar history related problems. This works if you have Internet Explorer as your browser.


The record of search history which appears in the search box on Yahoo and Google pages is actually a feature controlled by your browser.





Click Tools at the top of your screen, a menu will drop down, click on Internet Options, then click on the Content tab.


Under Personal information, click on the AutoComplete box.


On the AutoComplete Settings window click the Clear Forms box to delete your current history, or you can uncheck the Forms box to permanently stop the generation of the search history. When you are finished remember to click OK.





If you just want to clear searches on Yahoo or Google Home Page or any other Yahoo or Google page, double click the search box, this will make a menu drop down with your searches, put your cursor on what you want to delete to highlight it, hit the delete button on your keyboard. If you want to delete everything just hold the delete button down until everything is deleted.





To clear searches on Yahoo Toolbar, click the pencil icon beside the search box, a menu will drop down, click Clear Recent Searches. If you want to stop saving recent searches, click Toolbar Options and uncheck ';Enable Search History';, or check ';Auto-clear Search History when quitting IE'; to clear history when you close your Internet connection.

Look at your yahoo toolbar. You will see a pencil icon close to Big Y. Click on that icon , a little list will come up like toolbar options, personal options etc. Also you will see clear search history. Just click on that option , it will clear your history
Go to tools, then internet options and then clear history and you are done. You might want to search for cookies to and delete them all.
go to www.download.com and look for this program ccleaner it will clean alot of stuff note it will probably erase all temporary files that you have in application and online forms.
