Clear search history in Y! toolbar: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/toolbar/to鈥?/a>

However, if you wish to delete search history saved by the browser and auto-filled when you type on the yahoo website, here is the solution:

To clear your history from Internet Explorer:

1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.

2. Select ';Internet Options.';

3. Click the ';General'; tab.

4. Click the ';Clear History'; button. To completely disable the history function, set ';Days to keep pages in history'; to zero.

To clear your history from Mozilla Firefox:

1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.

2. Select ';Options'; %26gt; ';Privacy'; %26gt; ';History.';

3. Click on ';Clear.'; To completely disable the history function, set ';Remember visited pages for the last X days'; to zero (';0';).

4. Click ';OK'; to exit.How do i clear yahoo search bar?
If you mean yahoo %26amp; googe toolbars :

In Yahoo Toolbar :

In the left side of your search toolbar (yahoo) you can find a pencil icon. Click on that pencil icon and select ';Clear Recent Seraches';.

In Google Toolbar :

To clear your search history from the drop-down text box on the Google Toolbar:

1. Click on the 'Google' logo to access the drop-down menu.

2. Select the 'Clear Search History' option. This will clear all the previous searches from the drop-down box.

If you mean in browsers like IE, Firebox :

In Internet Explorer

* Go to menu, tools =%26gt;Internet options =%26gt; content.

Click AutoComplete in the bottom. In the resulting window click clear forms.

* To permanently stop saving the search and form field entries goto Tools=%26gt;Internet Options=%26gt;Content=%26gt;AutoComplete uncheck all the boxes and click ok.

In Firebox

* To pemanently stop saving data that you entered in search and form fields :

Right click Internet Explorer, highlight properties, click on Clear History, also set Days to keep pages in history to (0).

Also try click start, control Panel %26amp; then click Internet Options %26amp; fallow the above direction鈥檚, remember to click Apply.

To clean your recent searches, just click on the Content tab when your in Internet Properties, then click Clear SSL State %26amp; click on AutoComplete鈥?And make sure none of the boxes are checked, if they are, uncheck them and click OK
I agree with the previous respondent, but I would suggest one more thing:

When you've gone to %26lt;TOOLS%26gt; %26lt;INTERNET OPTIONS%26gt; %26lt;CONTENT%26gt; and found the Personal Information section of the page, click on AUTO COMPLETE, and then click the CLEAR FORMS button as well.

By the way, it's not Yahoo!'s search bar that's keeping track of all of your previous searches, it's Internet Explorer's Auto Complete feature. Google searches appear to be 'saved' for the same reason. If it bugs you, turn off the auto complete feature, and voila!
