Choose Reset Safari from the Safari menu and click Reset. This will reset EVERYTHING, though. You can't reset only the search history. You may want to turn on private browsing, To turn on private browsing, choose Safari %26gt; Private Browsing. Under private browsing Safari will not add your searches to the pull-down menu of searches. It will do other things, too. Check out Private Browsing and Reset Safari in Safari's Help.
