How to remove/delete/clear files/sites searched on internet browser e.g.on yahoo search?

to protect my privacy while internet surfing, i wish to delete , remove, clear the files, sites visited on yahoo search, or say mozila etc.etc how can i remove, delelte them permenantly.is there any button, or key which can be added to internet explorerHow to remove/delete/clear files/sites searched on internet browser e.g.on yahoo search?
For deleting history on address bar:


Open ur web browser (internet explorer/mozilla firefox). Inside ';Tools';, click on ';Internet Options'; and click on ';Delete History';. Alternatively, press Ctrl+H and u can delete the history day by day incase if u need to keep some day's history items.








For deleting history on yahoo search:

1. To clear SINGLE history items. Press CTRL+H to open the History Panel. Move your cursor over the one you want and click your right mouse button. When the menu appears click on DELETE.


2. To clear EVERY history item. Go to TOOLS %26gt; INTERNET OPTIONS %26gt; GENERAL TAB %26gt; CLEAR HISTORY BUTTON

1. To clear SINGLE history items. Press CTRL+H to view the history list. Then choose a chronological or alphabetical hierarchy in the View menu (the default is chronological, from most recent to oldest). Now browse to the domain, date, or page you want to expunge, right-click it, and choose Delete. Click the red X in the top-left corner to close the History pane.


2. To clear EVERY history item. Go to Tools %26gt; Options and click the ';Privacy'; tab. Click the + next to ';History'; to expand it. Just hit the ';Clear'; button.


3. To delete Firefox's entire record of your browsing activity, choose Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; History %26gt; Clear Browsing History Now (this dialog box also lets you set the number of days your history is recorded). Click OK when you're finished. To clear the browser's history of your file downloads, press %26lt;Ctrl%26gt;-J to open the Downloads window and click Clean Up. Firefox clears the download history automatically if you choose Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; Download History and select either Upon successful download or When Firefox exits in the drop-down menu next to 'Remove files from the Download Manager'.

1. To clear SINGLE history items. Press CTRL+ALT+H to view the histpry list. Find a history entry and right click it and choose DELETE.


2. To erase all entries from the History list, choose Tools %26gt; Preferences %26gt; Advanced %26gt; History, and click Clear next to 'Visited addresses'. To wipe out the browser's download history, press %26lt;Ctrl%26gt;-%26lt;Alt%26gt;-T, right-click a downloaded file, and click either Remove transfer or Remove all finished (to clear all completed downloads from the list).
