How do I clear/delete the history and search windows? I'm gift shopping and don't want to give away where.

Click on Tools and then Internet Options and then under General click clear history but also be sure to clear Auto Complete cause your searches will also be saved in the search bar. Here's how to do that:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom. How do I clear/delete the history and search windows? I'm gift shopping and don't want to give away where.
Click on 'Start', 'Settings', 'Control Panel', 'Internet Options'. You will be able to delete temporary on line and off line files and clear history. You will also notice that your computer may speed up a bit after you do this. How do I clear/delete the history and search windows? I'm gift shopping and don't want to give away where.
go to your internet options...uysually under tools...and go to delete browsing history...that usually does it!
Or you can highlight it and ';Control'; and ';delete'; same time
